Water Pressure Reducing Valves
Public Water Supply District No. 3’s water lines are gravity feed. Therefore we do not have a way of reducing water pressure to individual homes. Reducing the water pressure in your home can be done by adjusting your water pressure regulator. Every home should have Water Pressure Reducing Valves.

Backflow
Backflow is the reversal of water flow from its normal direction. This reverse flow can send a customer’s contaminated water back into the public system’s safe drinking water supply.

Educating our customers on ways they could help protect our public drinking water facility is the best way to help keep the public drinking water from being contaminated.
