How do I start service?
To establish water service please verify that we are your water provider by contacting our office. If we are your service provider, please fill out a water user agreement either in our office or online located on the Services Page.
Why is a deposit required?
Water is billed after it has been used. Once service is terminated, the deposit is used to pay the final bill. Any amount remaining once the final balance has been paid will be refunded.
How can I terminate service?
Water service can be terminated by filling out our Out-Processing Form which can be found on the Services Page or in our office.
When are meters read?
Meters are read approximately the 20th of each month.
Are meters estimated?
No. PWSD No. 3 uses radio read meters which are read electronically. In some locations we have cellular read water meters which allow us to monitor water usage on a daily basis from our office.
How much will my bill be each month?
Water consumption depends on several factors such as how many people are living in the home. On average each consumer uses approximately 2,000 gallons of water per month. Click here to view our current rates.
How can I pay my bill?
Bills can be paid by several methods. We accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders, eChecks,
Debit / Credit Cards or ACH (auto draft).
How can I make payments online?
Click on the View / Pay Bill link. This link will take you to our online payment site. First time users will have to register. To register please follow these steps.
1.) Click on Register Now
2.) Enter your information. Please contact our office if you need assistance with locating your account number.
One time payments can be made or reoccurring payments can be set up for each month with credit / debit card or eCheck.
When should I receive my bill?
Bills are mailed approximately the last week of each month. Customers should receive their bill within the first week of the month. Please contact our office if you do not see your bill by the 7th day of the month. Bills can also be viewed online.
When are bills due?
Bills are due by the 5th and are subject to a $10.00 late fee after the 15th of the month.
When do I have to pay late fees?
Any account with a balance over $10.00 is assessed a late fee after the 15th.
If payment is not received, when will service be disconnected?
Past due customers will receive an automated phone message indicating the disconnect date. Payments not received by 4:00 pm on this date will be subject to disconnection and a $100.00 service charge will be assessed. Service charges will apply after 4:00 pm regardless if the service has been turned off.
Can water be turned on after hours due to disconnection for non-payment?
An additional $50.00 service charge will be assessed to have water turned on after our Normal Operating Hours of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
What if I need service turned off for an emergency repair after normal operating hours?
If a customer has an emergency after hours request, we will turn off the meter one time for no additional charge. If numerous responses are required, a $50.00 trip charge will apply.
What do I do if my water is discolored?
Call the PWSD No.3 office and request to have the water main flushed.
